With the combination of mango and strawberry, your kombucha can take on a new taste. One fruit or even two fruits can be a great taste to any beverage. Mango is not a common addition to beverages, although it is growing in popularity its not growing fast. Mango has lots of benefits to it, such as it helps lower cholesterol, it can help your body fight against certain cancers such as prostate or colon. It can promote a healthy digestive system and help decrease the chances of having a heat stroke. Mangos are not grown everywhere so you are most likely going to buy them at your supermarket. Mango’s is the national fruit if India and can be used for festive gatherings as well as creating beautiful colorful dishes with them
Strawberries are also a great tasting fruit that can be added to kombucha. Strawberries are packed with their vitamins and nourishments such as antioxidants. This fruit is able to offer you a wide variety of vitamins such as Vitamin C and can help your immune system in so many ways. Strawberries can also lower your cholesterol levels, decrease the chances of a stroke, prevent cancer, and lower blood pressure. It’s good to add strawberries to your diet at least three times per week.
Both of these fruits have their own sweetness and can work together when combined with kombucha. When working with Kombucha, you will need to follow the instructions carefully. You will create the first fermentation during the first seven days. Equipment you will need to make Mango Strawberry Flavored Kombucha
- Measuring cups/spoons
- 6-8 ounce bottles that have been washed out and rinsed
Prepare the Mango
Prepare the Strawberries
Add berries and mango
Add 1/8 cup of mango to each bottle. Then add 1 strawberry into each bottle.
Start Second Fermentation
Place the lid on each bottle and then place them in a dark place for three days
Refrigerate until you are ready to drink Strawberry Mango Flavored Kombucha. It will last in the refrigerator for up to six to eight weeks.
