    Milk Kefir

Before you can add the Nutella, you will need to first make your milk kefir. It's important to allow one to two days to complete this process so make it up ahead of time. This recipe calls for ½-1 Tablespoon of Nutella per one cup of cultured milk kefir so you can make up a couple of cups of this delicious drink and store it in the refrigerator until you want it.

    Remove Kefir Grains

Once the milk has cultured, you will need to strain out the kefir grains. The easiest way to do this is to place a bowl on the counter or in the sink. Using a strainer in between the bowl and the jar of finished milk kefir, pour the milk into the strainer. The strainer will catch all of the milk kefir grains and allow the cultured milk kefir to go on through to the bowl below.

    Add Nutella

Now you are ready to add the great taste of Nutella to your milk kefir. Start with ½ Tablespoon into the milk kefir. Stir it thoroughly and taste. If it tastes to weak, add ¼ Tablespoon to the mixture and stir thoroughly and taste. You can still add another ¼ Tablespoon if it's not completely right for you. Everyone likes it differently so it's important that you find the taste that is right for you.

Note: Once you find the right taste, you will want to make another cup or two to store in the refrigerator to enjoy later or to share with company.
