2 cups of milk kefir
2 Tablespoons of olive oil
2 cloves of garlic minced
1 onion large, chopped
½ teaspoon of sea salt
¼ teaspoon of pepper more if needed

This recipe gives you the opportunity to make your favorite recipes using cultured milk kefir. This recipe far outweighs any store bought powdered or creamy onion dip.

    There are many onion dip recipes online and there are simple quick and easy packages of it in the store but when you want to make an impression, or if you simply like to prepare your own dishes, then this recipe will be the one to make.

    Onions

    You may not realize the benefits that are found in onions. Onions are good for helping the body to regulate blood sugar, decrease any inflammation, preventing cancer, lower the bad cholesterol, and contains free radicals that reduces the risk of gastric ulcers that develop over time.

    Garlic

    This recipe calls for two cloves of garlic. Garlic is well known for purifying the blood, help to strengthen the immune system to fight off colds and the flu. Garlic is good for the skin, and the heart. It also contains anti-bacterial properties as well.

    Milk Kefir

    With the added vitamins, enzymes, probiotics, and natural yeasts found in milk kefir, your digestive system can get back on track in no time when you start drinking milk kefir.     Heat Skillet

    Place oil in the skillet and turn it on medium heat.

    Onions

    Once the skillet has heated the oil, add the onions and sauté until they are brown and caramelized.

    Add the garlic and continue to sauté for one minute

    Cool

    Remove the skillet from the heat and allow the onions and garlic to cool down to almost room temperature.

    Add Remaining Ingredients

    Add the remaining ingredients to the onions and garlic and stir until well blended.

    Refrigerate

    Allow the mixture to sit in the refrigerator for several hours before you place it on the table to serve.

    Note: Stir the mixture well before serving.

    Note: For best results, place the bowl of onion dip on top of ice or a bowl with ice inside it to help it maintain its temperature and texture while serving. Stir it frequently to keep it all blended together and looking great.
