With summer right around the corner, peaches will soon be hanging from the tree branches while the sun shines brightly on them to help them grow. There is so many ways to prepare peaches when they are ready; peach pie, cobbler, preserves, jam, and fresh peaches right off the tree. There are peached flavored drinks available but they don’t taste as good as the real thing. With peach flavored kombucha, you are tasting the actual peach taste that you will love on a warm summer day, on a picnic, or a treat for your lunch box.

When you combine the delicious flavor of peach with the healthy kombucha drink, you get a drink that is oh so good on the taste buds and the body. Kombucha is great for supporting digestive health. The benefits of using fresh organic peaches include Vitamin A, C, E, K, B1, B2, B3, B6, folate, and minerals like iron, manganese, and copper just to name a few.

Make this healthy drink and feel better knowing that you have so much for your health in one glass.

Start off with a Basic Kombucha Recipe

For this recipe, you will first need to make a batch of Kombucha. You can refer to our How to Make Kombucha recipe for details and measurements. Kombucha has two fermentation steps however, for this recipe you will only need to complete the first one before adding the fresh peaches to give your kombucha a peach flavor. After you add the fresh peaches, you will continue with the second fermentation process to finish out the recipe.

    Let the Kombucha Set

Place the bottles of peach and kombucha in a dark part of your home for three days. This will give the kombucha time to ferment while the peach flavor combines with the kombucha. On the third day, open a bottle and taste to make sure that the flavor is right. It will be a balanced taste of peach and sweet/tarty kombucha creating a delicious flavor your mouth will enjoy.
Keep all bottles in the refrigerator until you are ready to enjoy. Pack a bottle for your lunch or enjoy while sitting on your porch with your family.
